2017 Saginaw Valley League Teacher of the Year Award

The Saginaw Valley League established this award to recognize excellence in teaching. This award is presented annually to one teacher from each of the Saginaw Valley member high schools.  A teacher may only win this award once.  Any teacher who has taught for at least 5 years and whose current teaching assignment is full or part-time in grades 9-12 is eligible to receive this award.

Semester 2 — Current 2016-17 School Year for all MPS Schools
  • Schools of Choice applications will be available January 3-27, 2017 ONLY
  • Parents will be notified of their application status by January 27 via US Mail

Fall of 2017-18 School Year for all MPS schools (including Central Park Elem.)
  • First Round Schools of Choice applications will be available February 1-28 ONLY
  • Parents will be notified of their first round application status by March 10, 2017

Please Note: Under the Schools of Choice legislation (Section 105 and 105 (c) of the State Aid Act), Preschool, Young 5’s and Kindergarten through 12th Grade students residing within Midland County ESA and contiguous intermediate school districts may apply to attend participating public school districts in Midland County. Transportation for these students is the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
