Board of Education Meetings
Board of Education meetings are broadcasted live on MPS-TV. Meetings are replayed throughout the week and are also available to watch online. Consult the Board of Education schedule and tune in during the next meeting.
The district produces a monthly television show, MPS Today, that highlights district current events, achievements, and other important subjects. MPS Today is hosted by Scott Cochran.
Television shows that are currently playing on MPS-TV are also available to watch online, either through our on-demand server (Windows Media Player for Windows or Flip4Mac for Mac is required for some videos) or on our YouTube channel.
Stay up to date with information and announcements from our schools. Our bulletin board is displayed between shows and at night. You can also see all of the current bulletins here on our web site.
If you want a copy of a show, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. DVD prices start at $10. Pricing depends on program length. Graduation sales are announced at the end of the year.
MPS-TV began broadcasting on channel 17 on March 17, 2003 and moved to channel 98 on December 1, 2009. The future home of MPS-TV on the Charter system will be channel 190, as of January 21, 2014. The partnership between the Midland Public Schools, the City of Midland, Charter Communications, and AT&T is the response to a series of community surveys indicating strong support for an educational cable television channel. Thanks to the support of the City Council and Charter Communications, startup costs were funded through the franchise fees that Charter pays to the City of Midland. MPS-TV joined AT&T U-Verse in the Great Lakes Bay region on July 15, 2013, shortly after celebrating its 10 year anniversary.
If you have questions about any of our programming, please send us an email at email@example.com or contact Scott Cochran at (989) 923-5080.
